07/29/2008All good things must come to an end. | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, well its official... we have decided to close the doors of Team assisted Suicide. Rather than keeping the team going while some of the core members just don't have it in them to play the game anymore (including myself)... we decided it was basically better to go ahead and put the team to rest with a fairly respectable name than to try and keep going and let the name go down the drain. We had a good run, we may bring it back some day... but for now, GGs!
06/13/2008Overdue News! | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, so yea its been way to long since I have posted some news on the website. My apologies on that but my excuse is that I have been real busy with my real job (since I am done with college now). Anyways enough with the excuses and on with the news!
Alrighty, well the CS 1.6 team is back in action with a few old and familiar faces who have been added back to the squad. We will be competing in both CAL and CEVO this season with hopes to come back strong after basically ending the last CEVO season pretty much inactive due to roster issues. But now that all the roster problems have been sorted out, we are back into the swing of things and can hopefully come back this season and make some noise in both CAL and CEVO! Also the team plans to be hitting up any east coast LANs that we can fit into our schedules and take the team to so keep an eye out for us at some tournaments this summer!
On the other front the CoD 4 team was moved up to CALim and is competing there these season. They are also preparing for NERV LAN coming up on June 20th in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Their roster for the event is:
Tien "hakuna" Le
Nathan "ivey" Hillary
Paulo "gomes" Gomes
Mike "saucy" Sentilesse
The lovely Ringer: Shirk
They are very excited about the LAN and have been preparing very hard to try and make a mark at the tournament. Wish them luck and we will keep you updated with information on the event!
Lastly we would like to welcome Glaceau (Vitamin Water) as our newest sponsor to the organization. We are very happy to have them supporting us and hope to make them proud with our performances across the board! Here is a little shot of what I have sitting in my room from them so far for the CS 1.6 team: Click Here
03/21/2008GameFrog LAN Results! | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, so once again its been quite a while since the last news post. Sorry about that, I have been real busy lately with school, work, etc which has kinda put news posts on the waiting list. Anyways, this past weekend (March 15th) assisted.cs was in Charlotte, NC @ GameFrog for the LAN tournament they were hosting. With snores and stylesKZ leaving the roster just a week eariler, we were forced to pull in 2 friends to play for us at the tournament. Our roster consisted of: buLLet, venslugen, jKx-, bLue, LeNNchuck. Not many expected us to make much noise at the tournament but as usual... we love to prove people wrong :-] Here are the matches from the tournament:
aS (10) < iLLicit (16) on de_inferno
aS (16) > takeAseat (1) on de_inferno
aS (16) > ESU (10) on de_dust2
aS (16) > pTp (13) on de_train
aS (16) > unmoderated (11) on de_dust2
aS (14) < pV (16) on de_nuke
The team ended up finishing 3rd at the tournament and bringing home $200 as the prize. We all had a blast at the tournament and are looking forward to the next LAN that we will be able to attend. GGs to everyond!
01/17/2008Updates... FINALLY! | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, so its been a really long time since the last update... I am to blame for that but of course I have an excuse. Things have been really busy due to exams in mid December, people going home for the break and so on. But enough of that junk, lets just get on to the few topics at hand.
Firstly I would like to point out that the CS 1.6 team is currently competing in the CAL-m/p placement tournament. With this being said, I feel that I should also bring up the fact that we brought in 2 new players right before it started. Corey "cpolly34" Pollnow and Louie "jam34" Benjamin. Things are going really good so far so expect some big things happening for us online as well as at some upcoming LANs :D
Also, I would like to point out the fact that we have picked up another Call of Duty 4 team. After some looking around, we felt we found a team that was dedicated / active / and looking to get to the top. Their roster can be found on the roster page of the website. We wish them luck as they compete in the first season of CAL under our name!
11/01/2007Team Updates! | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, so there has been a good bit going on around here in the assisted family in the past month since the last update. Firstly, We have picked up a new very promising CoD 4 team to play under our name! You can view their roster by going to the Rosters Page or by viewing them on the left side of the website. We are hoping to see big things from them in the future while here at assisted!
Next on the list we have the 3rd win by the assisted.cs team at the ApplachLAN VIII: Rebirth tournament on October 27th. We all had a blast there and we finally got to meet and hang out (and of course talk some business with our general manager Rossy and one of our Sponsors who was present). Our lineup for the event was:
Andrew "buLLet" Tiblier
Michael "venslugen" Tiblier
Chage "venom" Page
Noah "settLe" Settle
Ryan "nvrx" Owens
As usual we had a blast playing in such a well run tournament and also getting able to hang out with everyone before and after the LAN itself. We are looking forward to the next AppalachLAN!!
For the final item on the list we finally got our new logo designed for the team. #ilcreations created a fantastic logo for us which we are very excited about and have already updated our Proshop to mirror the new logo on all our clothing! Be sure to stop by and check it out here: assisted Proshop
Thats all for now, I will try and keep the updates alittle more frequent but there are no promises because we are all pretty busy around this time! :]

The tounament was a great time for everyone as we swept the tournament blowing all the other teams in attendance out of the water. All match scores along with screenshots can be found on the Matches Page under the section labeled "AppalachLAN VII"
Also be ready to see us back in the groove at the next AppalachLAN on October 27th which will have a 1.6 tournament that the assisted.cs team will be competing in! 08/14/2007x3o Results + More | Posted by: buLLet
Ok, so x3o has come and gone and boy oh boy did we have a great time! Leaving South Carolina around 2:00am, myself and Sun9 went to pickup the rest of the team for our trip. Since we got lucky with our group play time, this allowed us to leave a bit later than we orginially planned and still get there in plenty of time to get settled in before we had to start to worry about our matches in group play. We arrived in Rockville, Maryland around 12:00pm the next day, making our trip that went through the night and morning end up lasting just around 8 solid hours. The first thing we did upon arriving was to stop by x3o and see what it was like. We got there right in the middle of one of the groups matches so we were able to stand around, talk to some people we knew, and watch a bit of CS!!!
But from not sleeping all night we went ahead and checked into our hotel and took a nap before we went to get some late lunch/dinner. Right after dinner, we dropped by x3o once again to see what was going on with the group play and headed back to the hotel again for nap #2 before our group play began! We ended up being placed into the hardest group of the tournament (which most people were calling it). The teams in our group were Wrath, Confederacy PUG, eMazing Gaming, and ourselves. Here are the results from the group play:
Match #1:
aS (3) < Confederacy (16) on de_dust2
Match #2:
aS (16) > Wrath (5) on de_inferno
Match #3:
aS (3) < eMg (16) on de_train
With our record ending at 1-2 in group play, we were not able to advance to the next day for the brackets. Regardless though, everyone on the trip had a blast and we will defiently try our hardest to make sure we attend the next event that x3o holds! Lastly we would like to thank our sponsors, especially www.LeetServers.com for helping to make this trip possible!

Coming up soon we have CAL-m Playoffs (going in with the #2 seed in Atlantic with a 13-3 record) as well as the next GameFrog LAN. We will try to keep you updated :)
07/18/2007News!? OMG! | Posted by: buLLet
Alrighty, well a lot has been going on here at assisted Suicide recently which has made everyone real busy! With both CEVO and CAL in full swing, our hands have been full with stuff to be doing non-stop trying to stay prepared for both leagues. I am not going to go into a re-cap of all the matches and results since the last news post because that would probably take hours since there has been so many since then lol. But the Matches Page has stayed updated with all the latest scores and screenshots for anyone who is interested in our results and how we are fragging it up!
In other news the CS team has confirmed that they will be attending the x3o tournament on August 10th-12th. We are all very excited about attending because since the prize money is so high, we know there will be a bunch of good teams there for us to play! We have also picked up the stand-in player Noah "settLe" Settle to come to x3o with us since our orginal 5th couldnt come. While this is only temporary for the LAN, anything could happen so you never know! Here is our Lineup for x3o:
Andrew "buLLet" Tiblier
Chad "venom" Page
Andrew "snores" Cornelius
Sung "Sun9" An
Noah "settLe" Settle
